I have competed in the Mr. West Virginia
NABBA show April 2008. It was a non-tested show, and it really opened
my eyes on what I needed to work on because a lot of guys were not
natural, and so much bigger than me. It made me realize I needed to
compete in open playing fields. I am now preparing for a show June
2009 for two drug tested events out of state.
Favorite Exercise-I have a few favorites from different days, but I
would say either squats or deadlifts overall because of the feeling of
gripping the bar or holding a mass amount of weight on your back, both
very dangerous, both need substantial amounts of energy at all points of
the lift.
I
believe training is taken too serious with words, but not enough in the
gym. Its about what works best with you that YOU enjoy, not what
everyone else enjoys. You won’t have much luck doing something you
don’t enjoy, at least not for the consistent amount of time it takes to
be a bodybuilder. Don’t be afraid to go to failure if it can work with
your routine. Train heavy! |
